Programme description

The programme provides an overview of the framework and processes of drug development. Drug Development contains chemicals and biomolecules. It builds on the scientific background of participants.

It adds knowledge of:

  • health communication
  • pharmaceutical and clinical development
  • manufacturing
  • and regulatory guidelines and requirements

Objectives

The programme provides an overview of drug development from drug discovery to the marketing of a drug.

Individuals with a degree in pharmaceutical or natural sciences working in the pharmaceutical industry or for health authorities.

Requirements

A recognised university qualification (Master of Science, MSc) in pharmaceutical sciences or natural sciences or an equivalent qualification.
