Course description
In this course we will use interactive online learning to build an intuitive concept of essential aspects of statistics in medicine. Each week participants will be tasked with exploring concepts such as random variables and hypothesis tests. Concepts will be translated into medical examples.

Additional information
This introductory course includes access to an online learning environment, references to textbooks, blended learning, and feedback. A 3-hours coaching session per week helps understand and translate the blended-learning content into real-world medical examples and research articles. It will help participants with accessing and/or refreshing their statistics for its use in medicine.
The course consists of the following blocks for each week:
Block 1: Introduction to probability, data analysis & statistics
Block 2: Statistics fundamentals
Block 3: Random variables & distributions
Block 4: Statistical data analysis
