Admission process and withdrawal

Admission process

  • Submit your application together with the required documents by the deadline and pay the application fee.
  • If your documents are complete, they will be checked to see whether the formal and subject-related admission criteria is fulfilled.
  • After your application has been assessed, you will be informed by e-mail that you can view and download the written decision in the eApply application platform. In case of admission, you are definitely matriculated and will be enrolled at ETH Zurich. You do not need to confirm your participation.
  • In the case of a negative decision, you will also find the written rejection for download in the eApply application platform.

Rolling admission

After submission of your application a written decision will be sent to you usually 2 weeks to your eApply account (ETH application tool). It is possible that the application period will end earlier than announced, namely when all places have been filled.

Admission after the application deadline

All applications are evaluated after the application deadline. A written decision will be sent to you usually 4–6 weeks after application deadline to your eApply account (ETH application tool).

Withdrawal

If you do not wish to or are unable to participate in a continuing education programme after you have been admitted, please withdraw your application in writing at within the deadline stated in the admission letter. A withdrawal fee will be charged in the event of late withdrawal.
